CENTURY Makes a Splash at Canada’s Top Interior Design Shows
Benjamin Moore’s CENTURY-painted booth wowed designers, artists, makers and others at IDS Vancouver & Toronto.
From being dubbed “gorgeous beyond words” on social media to throngs of new fans visiting the CENTURY-designed trade show experience, CENTURY’s Interior Design Show (IDS) debut was a tremendous success.
Known as the “platform for all things design,” IDS shows invite artists, designers, makers, design-centric brands and even curious consumers to see what’s new and now in interior design.
Canada’s tastemakers experienced CENTURY through the eyes of renowned Toronto designer Shai DeLuca-Tamasi of Shai Deluca Interior Design. DeLuca-Tamasi created a Mediterranean-inspired trade show experience for Benjamin Moore that featured VAUXITE T5 and CELESTINE BLUE T8 from the CENTURY palette of 75 colors.
The designer paired CENTURY with the furniture-like finish of Benjamin Moore ADVANCE interior paint in Decorator’s White CC-20, pearl on the moldings and Downpour Blue 2063-20 in a combination of pearl, semi-gloss, and high gloss sheens on the richly colored cabinets.
The high-energy Benjamin Moore booth also featured informative videos on CENTURY’s soft touch matte finish, its unique depth of color, and the story behind the precision and craftsmanship that fuels the truly unique paint.
Benjamin Moore color & design spokesperson and interior designer Sharon Grech, who is regularly featured on Canadian TV’s Cityline alongside DeLuca, was busy at the show answering design questions and giving expert advice. The duo also helmed ‘The Business of Colour,’ one of the most well attended panels at both events, alongside fellow design expert Kelly Deck of Kelly Deck Design in Vancouver and Arren Williams of Casa Cubista in Toronto.
