CENTURY Home Makeover: Office
Under the watchful eye of Interior Designer & Benjamin Moore spokesperson Sophie Bergeron, CENTURY TERRE VERTE O5 was the color of choice for the simple yet elegant office makeover in this historic 1933 Québec City home.
Wrapped in the deep green and soft touch finish of CENTURY TERRE VERTE O5, this newly painted office takes on a welcoming tone underneath the glow of the room’s original 1930s chandelier.
“I fell in love with the deep green of TERRE VERTE O5 because of the depth and strength this paint color provides,” says Interior Designer Sophie Bergeron. The undertones of black in TERRE VERTE O5 also held appeal for the designer as it introduces a strong, high-impact design effect into the pleasant, livable space. “When you want to create a design where color is the main element, the right balance is key,” she adds.
Sophie and the homeowners made a conscious choice to keep the walls clear, so that the sumptuous wall color didn’t have to compete with too many wall hangings, maintaining an uncluttered vibe. The room’s clean and crisp look is solidified further with the use of Simply White OC-117, eggshell the Benjamin Moore 2016 Color of the Year, on ceiling, door and trim.
