CENTURY Home Makeover: Living Room
When a circa 1933 home in Québec City needed a redesign, Interior Designer & Benjamin Moore spokesperson Sophie Bergeron chose CENTURY paint as a key design element throughout the home.
As the first room to the left of the entryway, the living room is an eye-catching focal point of the home.
“I instantly thought of a darker colour for high impact,” says designer Sophie Bergeron, who used CENTURY’s DEEP IOLITE T7 on all four of the walls.
Deep blue velvet window coverings with a very fine print keep the room’s colour uniform, evoking a feeling of warmth. CENTURY’s soft touch matte finish, often compared to the feel of a fine leather glove, contributes further to the room’s richness and depth. Hardwood floors, the Carrara marble fireplace, and minimal home accessories support the classical heritage of the home.
The living room opens to the dining room, where Sophie used CENTURY BLUE FESCUE Q6, creating impeccable colour flow between the two rooms.
